A Children's Song

When Christy’s children were little, she wrote this simple song to remind them of the special, unique, and holy things that took place in their church. "God’s House" had its debut in a church "coffee house" presentation in 2007, when her (then, 8-year-old) daughter sang it as a solo, accompanied by her mom on the piano.
This song's melody and lyrics are simple enough for even the youngest children to sing. It is ideal for Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, homeschooling, family devotions, and children's bedtimes, as a sweet reminder of God's presence in our lives. The hymn version is written in SATB, making it a good first introduction to singing in parts for older children.
